Apple's
Macworld 2008 booth is naturally gargantuan this year, but practically empty -- that is, if you don't count the teeming hordes of people surrounding the
MacBook Air table and watching the presentations on the big screen. Apple only has its new product on display, which means mainstays like regular iPods, iMacs, MacBooks and MacBook Pros were nowhere to be seen. The booth is fairly dominated by an end-to-end table filled with MacBook Airs and their respective Apple guardians. Time Capsule seems a bit of an afterthought, as does Apple TV.
If you have a chance to test the external DVD burner with a macbook or macbookpro please post the result.
Thank you for the great coverage
So I'm guessing the crowd was 1% reporters and 99% fanboys, right?
So wheres the guy with the silver coat? Its like trying to spot Waldo in there.
I'm not trying to be an anti-apple dick, but is there any other tech news going on today. I'm not going to complain about all the Apple post, bucause that would just be stupid, but has the whole tech world stopped for apple, or is engadget just ignoring it?
because**
tbh, the whole tech world probably stopped today. They knew it would be stupid to announce anything at all today.
Macworld is THE tech news today, just like CES was THE news for the past few days. Not that hard to figure out.
I think the Time Capsule is a better product than the Air. Whoopy, a laptop with less features. It doesnt appear to be about functionality but about pushing limits to size.
The Time Capsule is functional and multifeatured and works for any system.
I would take that over anything else they are revealing (which isnt a whole lot)
Remember this everyone?

Just so everyone knows, cuz they care so much.
