I am not defending Samsung. But, the fact is in South Korea to get stuff done you've had to (have to?) bribe someone. I mean, even to do something legitimate, unless you want your paperwork "lost" etc. This problem requires the government to purge itself of being open to bribes and I don't believe Samsung should be punished as much as the government.
Corruption is bad. Those who feed it are doing wrong, but the evil ones are in the government, not necessarily in Samsung. The government officials of South Korea demanding bribes shouldn't be able to schmooze out of this one so easily.
