iPhone v1.1.3 causing major issues with SMS message order?

Apparently, a lot of iPhone users are experiencing issues related to out of order SMS conversations. [Thanks Mark and Sean]
What's the deal, have you seen this? Shout it out in comments.

A lot of people were pretty damned stoked about the SMS improvements Apple unleashed upon iPhone owners yesterday with firmware v1.1.3, but it's not all turning up roses.
Yes this error happens, i knew it was the update. i think it does happen when you send and receive text in a very short period of time, like in a matter of seconds.
I rarely ever use SMS, it is just too costly, both for me and other people I know. However, I wanted to watch the Stevenote from the website, and the playback was terrible. It kept stopping and returning to the website, and it eventually dropped the audio, and some parts were so choppy that the whole display was filled with artifacts. I paused it and let it buffer a little more, but it didn't help. I reset it, and it seemed to be good enough to finish, but I wouldn't be surprised if this wasn't the last of it. This is the only time I've had problems after an update, which is amazing because I've jailbroken just about every update.
This started to happen to me, so i deleted all my SMS and all the new ones are fine.
Updated this morning, sent about 20 SMS messages since then. Haven't been able to trigger/reproduce this glitch. Sorry...
Simple Fix, all the device has to do is, as soon as the opperator hits send the exact time is logged then the file is uploaded with the log and on the recipients end the device simply places the messages in order acording to the time stamps/tags.

Hey Apple, when you fix this can you fix a few other issues that I'm having. I'm not able to send or receive pictures or videos through MMS and I don't have iChat on my phone. I would appreciate a fix on that right away!!!
Yea. I have noticed this the moment I started texting my friends. It's way out of order and is starting to become annoying.
I've just checked my iPhone and it did it to one of my conversations last night:
Them: You still awake?
Me(about 2 mins later): Yeah, what's up?
Became:
Me: Yeah, what's up?
Them: You still awake?
The rest of the conversation was in the right order. But it doesn't seem to be if it's under 10 secs or whatever that it reorders them as the other texts were back and forth quicker than the first 2.
Very strange. Hopefully they'll fix it soon...
A buddy and I have both have this problem all of the time on our 1.1.3 iPhones. It really sucks...1.1.4 here we come!
It seems to be a problem with the display. Looking back on old chats, they were in order when I had them, but now in 1.1.3 they're out of order. Hopefully a simple bug that will be fixed.
any body noticed how the sms ignore and view was changed to close and reply pop screen when you get a text message? when you press ignore it would close the pop up screen and have a number to remind it you have a txt. now when you press close it doesnt display a number so i could go all day without remembering i had a txt. ohter than tha i like the group txt messaging.
Have not seen this issue (yet). Oh and my old BlackJack is still on Windows Mobile 5.
My point I'll take small issues with any update which improves the overall product than nothing at all.
BTW anyone want to buy a Blackjack?

Yep. This is insanely annoying. I've tried clearing and restarting and everything... no bueno. It's not constant, but enough to be obnoxious.
No issues here. Conversations in order, and sending the same speed it always was.

yup, My SMS conversations are all kinds of out of order.
I thought it was AT&T lagging on the delivery but it still didn't add up
hope they patch it soon cause they keep dropping the ball on what should be the simplest app on the device O_o
I'm wondering if this problem has something to do with the cell towers not reporting time correctly.

The latest update for the iphone makes it possible to see your chapters and its corresponding pic (chapter guide) in addition to just using the forward and back buttons. Great:)
When I play my movie on the iphone, and I press the chapter button, the chapter titles display perfectly the "chapter guide" list, and when I press the chapter title button it navigates to the correct chapter. However, the pictures displayed next to the chapter titles are not in order. For example, one of them repeats twice for no reason, or might be missing. This causes the titling and their corresponding pics to be off.
Anyone else have this issue? Chapter guide text good, corresponding pics bad!!

This is happening to me and it is VERY annoying! If I have to wait for another firmware update for this to be fixed I am going to be PISSED!
I had out of order SMS with 1.1.2
With 1.1.3 I've sent messages that never arrive.
