Buffalo adds new 1TB and 2TB storage options to its lineup
Your good pals at Buffalo are injecting some new storage options into your life, so you might want to pay attention (especially if you're a Japanese citizen). The company is introducing a new line of RAID 0, four-drive models called the QSIBSU2 HD / R, featuring eSATA, USB, FireWire 400 / 800, and TurboUSB functionality. A 1TB version of the array will run you ¥74,300 (or around $695) and will be available in at the end of the month, while the 2TB model clocks in at ¥106,300 ($995) and will ship in late February.

Raid 0 only?

I just read the spec and that's a pretty fast RAID 0 machine striping against all 4 drives. So, probably aimed more at video editing (speed being most important) than general business (data integrity being most important)...

They pretty much have to make new drives. With their wireless equipment still banned from being sold :(

They have wireless equipment for sale here in Houston, TX.
I really want to get one of their 1Tb networkable storage drives. I prefer it to be networked instead of USB.

I would make a relevant post, but I'm too distracted by the dancing lady in the lower your mortgage payment ad.

I really want a NAS and I've been researching them a lot recently. Initially I wanted a Buffalo but after reading the user reviews I have changed my mind. Apparently they are prone hard drive failures and have little configuration info.
