According to a highly dubious study recently released by a maker of paper-shredders, 47-percent of Americans said they would "like to be Bill Gates." The other 53-percent said they preferred being powerless, poor, and not knowing what to do with Visual Basic.
While I can't fault you for using C++ / BASH / Python, I can fault you for pooing all over VB. VB is a great language as long as you're not an idiot programmer, plus it keeps the idiot programmers from blowing up your computer when they do something stupid, unlike C++.
MS bashing aside, if people actually bothered to port it to linux, then it must have some merit.
Myself, Id rather be Larry Ellison of Oracle. Back in the day, he used his money to get laid as much as possible. His pickup line “Hi I’m Larry Ellison, do you want an Acura?”
I'm comparing the relative merits of this posting to one Gizmodo just put up re: Melissa French Gates. Yours references an obscure company's obscure ad campaign, using a 30 year old mug shot. Theirs references the head of the largest Philanthropic organization in the world with a Maxwell portrait of French. Ostensibly, both do so because of the Gates' role in the industry.
At the risk of being banned, does the phrase "bush league" mean anything to you? It should. You guys are seriously slipping. Must be adolescent advertising demographics or something, huh?
It's funny because there's always a few people over at Gizmodo talking about the recent demise of that blog and how they're gonna convert over to Engadget.
Me? I just read the best of both, and yeah, the worst of both, too, and just walk away with the good things.
When you say "be" is that an abbreviation for "beat up"? You know, not that that's my opinion (he seems like the kind of asshole who would sue someone for that).
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.

That picture on the left screams, “I’m smiling about this cause I’m GANGSTER SUN! YOU CAN’T HOLD ME!!”
Um, your left, our right ;^)...

In a way, his mugshot just kinda reminds me of McLovin
Even Bill Gates wants to be Bill Gates.

All I want is the job, no money involved with it. Think of all of the power you would have!! You could make any tech product you dreamed of!

Well I know Jay Z and Master P said they were teh Black Bill Gates.
If being Bill Gates means going to bed with Melinda everything, then thanks...but I'm good.
woops...i meant every night.
53%?
I didnt know that 53% of America was the 80+ crowd and .Mac fanboys.
you should look at it from the other perspective: a majority doesent want to know what to to with vb! i think this is great!
haha i love visual basic
"Study" finds half of Americans want to be Bill Gates...
And the other half want to be Steve Job.
So, there...
What the f*ck is he wearing!?
