Wii Fit shipping Stateside Q2 2008, says Nintendo
Alright America, you've got yourself some prep work to do: Nintendo's about to foist this whole nefarious "exercise" paradigm on you, in the form of the Wii Fit, and we know how you fell for that whole "Wii" fad a year or so back. The thing has a 300 pound weight limit at the moment, though it's unclear if Nintendo is going to "upgrade" that for American users, but you'll just have to risk it. We figure a few dozen Twinkies a day, on top of a couple potlucks a week, and a few barrels of Pocky to keep it cultural, and you should have yourself out of contention for silly balance exercises and hula hooping tomfoolery by the time Q2 rolls around, Nintendo's promised ship date. Crisis averted.

Flashpoint, I know blog commenter's who can't spell.
First of all, many americans ARE fat, thats why the stereotype appeared. Its because we're all lazy and eat fast food, but hey- it tastes good.
I hate seeing fat kids at Jack in the box, its like they're already screwed. Hopefully this gadget will help all our kids from turning out as tubs of lard.
Serendipitously, I've been talking up the Wii Fit with a few different people over the last few days. I can't wait for it. Next to the DDR and Sports, I think it has a solid potential for a good workout and fun with the non-gamer wife.
Knowing as many people as I do who wanted a Wii system but didn't want to pay scumbags a premium on ebay, I can't possibly have any positive feelings to your position. I wish Nintendo would realize the dirty aftermarket they created and flood the market so you guys are stuck with consoles you can't sell at the sick mark-ups.
I wish the Wii had better games. Then I'd definitely keep one of the ones I'm scalping on ebay.
Wii is a console you either love or hate. If you don't like your games at all, you bought the wrong console, and you should have realized that before you did.
Like a jerkface, I bought one during christmas (and had a hard ime finding it to be honest, or more accurately having my girlfriends parents find it for me in an obscure store outside Osaka proper) in Japan. Now it sits like a brick and says to me in its own words no you can't play this game on the American Wii. I will be happy to hopefully get an American disc
i weep for the future. the world is a collection of hate silos, that guyser up whenever the opportunities present themslves. Martin Luther King Jr. is turning over in his grave (so is Ghandi, Mohammed(PBUH) and Jesus Christ). Educationleads leads to Tolerance leads to Love.
Arlin I totally agree with you. I weep for the future with the hate that fills this world.
