I wish GE would quit diluting their brand name by licensing it to various companies. This camera is not made by GE. They just use the GE brand name. Just like how various alarm clocks, cordless phones, etc are marketed.
GE only makes certain home appliances (refrigerator, water treatment systems, washer, dryer, dish washer, trash compactor, and certain microwaves). They also make light bulbs, nuclear power plants, medical equipment like X-ray, CT scanners, ultrasounds, MRI, etc. They also own NBC/Universal (most of it anyway). They also make diesel locomotives, jet engines, industrial systems, insurance companies, etc. Just look up ge.com and look at their portfolio. Cameras, and clock radios don't figure in their business.
However it is their fault to keep on licensing their logo to people.
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.

I saw Westinghouse televisions at best buy. I don't want those either.
