Sony unloads a truckload of new cameras before PMA

NICE, I was waiting for a 2G T200, I guess the T300 is it!
Thanks Sony!
Still waiting for 2G iPod Touch with 32GB.

My T200 is a dinosaur. Fortunately the main upgrade is a bunch of useless megapixels.
I'm waiting for the Nikon D400 (or something) next year, which will compete with the successor to the Canon 5D.
For now I'll plod along with my Nikon D200, Canon G7, Canon SD700, Sony DSC-H1, and Sony DSC-T200. And all their different freakin' battery chargers.

Not bad.

Yet the most important feature in a camera, THE LENS, is no where to be found.
Adam @ Jan 23rd 2008 11:32PM
they're all Carl Zeiss lenses.
Nick @ Jan 23rd 2008 2:34PM
could the picture be any bigger?
JJV @ Jan 23rd 2008 2:50PM

xbit @ Jan 23rd 2008 2:55PM
Maybe it was taken with this 8.1MP camera...

About the S750/780-would these still be using a Sony optical lens like the S700?
I wish these cameras would feature a Zeiss lens like the S600 did.

The photo of the H10 on the front of this article just zoomed about 5x! It's going to swallow my soul gets any bigger.
Stasguy @ Jan 23rd 2008 3:26PM
Why won't sony put the zeiss lenses into their phones? (maybe they want us to buy Nokia?)
Shutter Blog @ Jan 23rd 2008 3:57PM
Yeah, but can it take a million pictures a second?
teej @ Jan 23rd 2008 4:50PM
they probably all support Bluray too...le sigh. oops...i meant one of Sony's other forcefully proprietary formats.
Poom @ Jan 24th 2008 5:27AM
How is Blu-ray proprietary? Seriously... I am sick of these comments...
teej @ Jan 24th 2008 11:00AM
Sony's just evil...can't you see it? they've always tried so hard and arrogantly to push their formats (even if they don't own BD), and it's a taste of things to come. after BD eventually wins, Sony will build Skynet and destroy us all! their motto is assimilate or die.
anyways, yaaa cameras! woooo!
Sim @ Jan 23rd 2008 6:09PM
Hmm...could they not think of anything more inventive to do to the H3 than a half inch or something on the screen?
Fix some of the dodgier bits of the processing...allow zoom on videos if you pick it, or at least digitally..
Ah well.
