Myself, I'm seeing more like 468,000 pixels difference (but I could be off as well). Personally, I'd be much more interested in seeing some new offerings in the 24" size. My FHD2400 is so close to perfect, but not quite there.

Honestly... the 19" got "stuck with?" How close to the thing are you sitting, Engadget!?
1,440 x 900 and 1,680 x 1,050 is a pretty substantial difference.
By my (maybe wrong) calculation thats 36000 pixels of real estate.
