I wonder if this is DLNA compatible (meaning that you could share content with the PS3)?

I don't know for sure if it will be able to, but the ps3 is able to add HDD space very easily and it starts with 80GB as well. But I see your point for recording TV
nice ideas and we need more in this space, esp. with video serving, but the HDD space is laughable. Who has 80GB of music? Make it 500GB and you'll get my attention (though for video add some Terrabytes).
I own a lot of SONY home theater products and this one WILL replace some of that as soon as I can get my hands on it. Don't give up hope they can make it in this corporate world as long as they turn out quality.
