"Oceania"
how about: yakov smirnoff
I am way behind the power curve here, but I couldn't see anyone suggesting this one with a legal twist:
Microsoo!
You guys really don't read the business press much... because Wall Street's been talking about this deal since May 2007!

I hate microsoft monopolising F****
MS-Yahoo
or
MSY
Just Microsoft ? It's a Lot bigger..
No, I REALLY REALLY hope the feds react to this disaster !
Let Pyttemjuk continue with it's crappy Live Search and Yahoo be the normal hate object as it always has, at least here in Sweden :)
Microhoo ftw
Yahoo!
Cancel or allow?
I would take an O from the whole Microhoo! equation...let it be Microho!.....altough that wouldnt be accurate either....let it be....
MacroHo'!
Oh great, this will *improve* all those BSODs to RSODs (Red Screen of Death)!
well here is what it will be the Reggae version Micro-Yah-Soft-OO........
lets call it Yak!
I'd call it...
YUCK !
What do I call it? The former E-mail online e-mail service that I used to use. Anything Microsoft has touched over the last 3-4 years has turned sour, I'd expect no less after the assimilation of Yahoo..
Ok, obviously you haven't been using Microsoft's current internet service for, 3-4 years already?
And you would have expected nothing to change.
Now I don't like all things Microsoft, but things like Windows Live have shown that Microsoft is not giving up yet.
MSN Hotmail is dead. Now it's Live Hotmail, and I have to say, it's really good.
Unlike Y! Mail, you don't have to pay to use it in e-mail managing programs, receive tons of spam all the time, have to keep up with the tons of ads on that site, among other things.
And Live Hotmail has it's own nice features if you've been using e-mail accounts from many other services.
I do quite a bit of support for windows based PC's, but I avoid most of their cursory applications as I detest them as a company. Onecare, Vista, and many other MS apps are just shoddy. Guess I should appreciate the big MS for continuing to throw the support industry continuous business to maintain their marginally functional applications.
How about BooHoo?
…or possibly: Hoo's the boss!
…or maybe: Hoo's your daddy!
"Second Place"
Mycrosoft
Humm..
Just curious,
Yahoo is part of Rogers, for internet, phone etc...
Microsoft, already owns Bell Cananda, for phone and internet..
Does this mean rogers and bell two top competitors in Canada, will merge?
If they are smart, they would rebrand all online content as Yahoo! (including MSN, Windows Live, etc.), while continuing to use Microsoft for software and the name of the corporation.
Most likely they will use the same strategy they use for naming all their products: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Surface, Microsoft Network (MSN), and finally... Microsoft Yahoo!....
I think that will be the final name: "Microsoft Yahoo!"
"Microsoft Yahoo!" ...but just for the name of Yahoo! The corporation will still be named Microsoft, of course.
It's going to be YahMic!
I'd see it get called "Y AH YOOSoft"
Yamisoft
I would call it "glitches R' Us"
Microsoft and Yahoo are both terrible software companys,
Yahoo search is slow, glitch filled and ugly. Vista is slow, virus filled, ugly, and terrible. Together you have 1 big garbage company.
