I have failed... by my own fault.

At least you failed epically...

you sir, are awful. just because you want to do it doesn't make it a good idea.
now about the projector, i've got to admit it's pretty nicely spec'd (bright!). the biggest draw has to be the 4000 hour lamp life. i've got a panasonic pt-ax100u and those lamps last about 2000 hours. i'm at 1200 on mine and i can tell it's not as bright as it used to be. new lamp costs ~$350!
they're still gonna have to be really agressive on price though. the pt-ax200u retails for $1300 and is pretty much the market leader in this category.

If you lived a life of only things that were accepted as "good ideas" it would be a damn boring life. I got a good laugh out of it and that makes a good comment in my book.

to say that it has a 28 dB noise level would suggest the projector is amplifying the noise, since this is probably not the case it should be written: -28dB.

-28dB! Wow a projector fan that actually makes the room quieter.
Maybe if i buy 4 i won't here the wife bleating

I've got the previous year's model, the PH530. It's got similar specs, but a 3000 hour lamp life and 1000 lumens in eco mode (which is plenty bright in a light-controlled room). It's been a very nice, solid performer. It retailed for less than $600; this one should be similarly priced.

720p is not high definition. 1080p is though.

Since when?
