Keepin' it real fake, part CIX: C-002 HiPhone ups the ante

All you other iPhone knockoff manufacturers out there better take note: the C-002 HiPhone isn't messing around. Not only is this phone built to mimic the iPhone hardware, but the interface is one of the most faithful reproductions we've seen, and even the unboxing experience has been made to scream Apple. In fact, some of the largest differences between this phone and its inspiration are improvements: a removable battery, dual SIM cards and a microSD slot. All I have to say is:

When the first manufacturer developed the first ever HD flat tv, was the second manufacturer considered a rip off? The same discussion took place with other devices and technologies such as 802.11, etc.

Everyone is doing it and as Nokia put it "With Pride". Cloning is good, especially because it forces top companies to improve their products. Soon, all mobile devices will be touch enabled and this conversation wont be remembered.

If any one got this phone can you post sum other pics, how long did it take to get, dus it have wi-fi? I tried to contacted them but they are out for Chines New Year till Feb 13. If they are lagit I’m grabbing one for my wife. She going home to the Philippines for two weeks this should work grate duel sims and if it get stolen cheaper than a real iphone plus will sell it for twice the price when she leaves.

Well I must say I'm going to try to buy this phone.
Note I really love the real apple Iphone but I live in one of those countries where it is forbidden to sell a locked phone with a carrier subscription.
If I want to buy the phone legally unlocked I have to buy it in another country for 750€
Indeed it's not even officially for sale here in Belgium.
This one is going to cost me 160€ and has dual sim which is what I need.

And for the record an unlocked jailbraked Iphone is about 500€ here if you go for turbosim option.

Well..There is always future cloned models =P

And secondly just cause its a clone doesnt mean apple will be hurt, the people who wanted an iphone but couldnt buy it, couldnt afford at apple price.(as yes i know they are recouping costs from r&d and sales)The majority will want the real thing instead of feeling sleazy.And few if any will know how to get their hands on a clone anyway.

+ plently of companies have clones and do well, look at all the luxury brand names.

I have the following Cect IClones: P168+, T32, I32, and both the 32seies phones are pretty darned great phones, but the T32 (HiPhone) simply takes the cake because it places an 'iPhone' like interface on top of the brilliant WinMobile 6 platform.

- Full AD2P Support
- Shake To Advance To The Next Song/Pic
- Full Accelerometer Functions
- Dual Sim Support (Both Unlocked)

In many ways, it's a far better phone than my actual iPhone.

I got mine today, just EXACTLY like the video and pics. It's nice. The touch is a little sluggish (.25 second delay on opening apps, no delay through menusets), but it's worth the price. Dual sim is nice. I haven't found a problem. I bought mine through dragonkicks.com. no hassle, no problem, got tracking info and trakced it from China to OKC.

worth it, try it. Or buy an iphone for 150 more (unless that price drop actually comes through).

if you cannot afford iphone, this is a good choise, but don't expect it has all iphone features and works as well as iphone.
The most exciting thing is it can zooming pictures by two fingers, just like iphone.

This phone sucks! Buyer beware, if you want something like an iphone, buy an iphone. I was scammed and bought this phone and nothing works....AT ALL! Looks cool, but thats it. Only read 1/10 mp3's i put on the phone. If you like watching video with no sound it works great, only supports 3gp video. Oh, did i mention i could'nt get service ANYWHERE!

seriously dont buy it I have it.. its like the iPhone except...
iPhone "it just works".
HiPhone "it just umm... requires some time to get it working because we shipped it in chinese so you could first fiddle with that thing for now... and oh yeah you have to use our earphones only there is a mobile phone headphone jack and then maybe check the back to get the usb working right there..."
