Thor Shield ensures you can't tase me, bro!
So Point Blank Solutions, Inc. and G² Consulting apparently went right ahead despite the existing patent app and came up with an anti-Taser material called Thor Shield, which weighs two ounces per square foot and can be integrated into anything from a flak jacket to gloves (pictured) to a standard issue t-shirt. We totally can't wait to wear our hilarious / ironic Thor Shielded Threadless shirts to the next G8 summit, yo.

What if he shoots me in the face?

What if he shot him in the face!
Nathan @ Feb 8th 2008 11:27PM
"Don't shoot me bro! Don't shoot me! I didn't do anything *blam* OOOOOWW OWWWWW...........ow.............o.............."
Kamokazi @ Feb 8th 2008 10:26PM
Coming to the Summer 2008 Fubu street fashion line...
In other news, police beatings of minorities in LA, Chicago, and NYC are up.
(Yes it was a little racist, but you laughed, didn't you?)
Tito @ Feb 8th 2008 10:32PM
I sure did. . .I feel bad now. . .
matt @ Feb 8th 2008 11:38PM
no, the cops are just going to shoot you with a real gun now.
Joel Stephen @ Feb 9th 2008 12:53AM
My friend in NYC all they do is shoot you know questions asked
mr friggles @ Feb 9th 2008 9:53AM
Only a cracker would think black people still wear FUBU. LOL that went out of style around 5 years ago. Police don't tase black people, they shoot them, so even the context of the joke is off. HA!
They should make this spray-on and every protester or activist will have 10 in their closet. I'd invest if they accomplished that.
SFG @ Feb 9th 2008 11:54AM
Nah it wasn't that funny, but the - don't shoot me bro - was. I don't think it will have an effect on tazings because I doubt the majority of people who have the potential to get tazed actually read or watch the news. Maybe there will be a bunch of pimple faced teens that get the shirt and then walk around trying to provoke cops to taze them. Now that would be a funny sight. I could imagine one of our L.A. County Sherrifs just slapping him out of the way. Minority beatings are down . . . I think they'd just beat white kids these days.
Jason Collin @ Feb 9th 2008 10:03PM
I saw a middle-aged Japanese man wearing a FUBU sweatshirt last week in Tokyo. FUBU is certainly still in style here yo!
Backlin @ Feb 8th 2008 10:27PM
How much do you wanna bet that the guy that got tazed came up with the idea?
nxtiak @ Feb 8th 2008 10:44PM
"DON'T TASE ME BRO!!! DON'T TASE ME...I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING... OOOWWWW OOOWWWWWW"
Ahhh I love hearing that line/watching the video.

Cuz it is really is funny seeing someone ask a question and be abused by 7 police officers for it.
You should try getting arrested, then you can egg all the police officers on as you drop chrowz and wave that flabby hot pocket butt at their man-sticks
hemmy @ Feb 8th 2008 10:50PM
you CAN'T taze me, bro !!!!
SFG @ Feb 9th 2008 11:54AM
HAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!
kev @ Feb 9th 2008 12:43PM
Can't tase this. *cue music*
Motoken @ Feb 8th 2008 11:08PM
"Thor Shield ensures you can't tase me, bro!"...... OH REALLY? * tases his face* gota rethink that shield, boy.
Prey521 @ Feb 8th 2008 11:29PM
It's illegal to use a taser above the neck.
Bobs @ Feb 8th 2008 11:31PM
Those probes dont exactly have laser guiding precision ya know.
Spyvie @ Feb 8th 2008 11:34PM
Just save some time and where a shirt that says "Tasers are ineffective against this garment, please use your firearm and aim for center mass”
MEAT! @ Feb 8th 2008 11:11PM
So now you can _pretend_ to be tazed, and then, when the cops go to handcuff you for asking John Kerry a long question, you can spring into action! And get beaten up the old fashion way.
Stevo @ Feb 8th 2008 11:32PM
This joke is getting old
av8or @ Feb 8th 2008 11:33PM
do they make thor shield cups? not that i get tased, but if i did, i definitely wouldn't want to get zapped in the nads
w00t @ Feb 9th 2008 12:42AM
Sounds like great protection... when they try and tase you and figure it's not working they'll simply draw a gun instead! That's better?
Besides, is anyone really going to be wearing this all the time to ensure they don't get tased?
What a waste of time...
trevor @ Feb 9th 2008 3:23AM
Exactly what kind of person would need the reassurance of being taze-proof "all the time?"
Tazing seems reserved for special occasions. So does this shirt.
Wwhat @ Feb 9th 2008 4:28PM
Ever heard of pepper spray? Did you? And about murder charges? Did you?
Jesus what dumbasses in this thread.
Greg @ Feb 9th 2008 3:27AM
I'd buy it. Way too much tazing going on here. Citizens aren't interested in bulletproof jackets, but they are in this? What does that say about law enforcement?
dramamoose @ Feb 9th 2008 11:19AM
I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm more afraid of being tazed than being shot. Not because there's lots of tazerings, but because, if you're shot (and you're white), the cop better have a damn good reason for it, or he'll get crucified. If, however, he tazers you, he doesn't really have to have a good reason for it.
SFG @ Feb 9th 2008 11:55AM
The race thing is so old. Everyone knows, only hispanics get treated terribly by the L.A.P.D. these days . . . unless of course the cops are hispanic . . .
philos @ Feb 9th 2008 4:05AM
bundy stunner anyone?
Twitchy @ Feb 9th 2008 4:27AM
I don't know what all the excitement is about, it still doesn't protect you from pepper spray.
kyb @ Feb 9th 2008 4:27AM
As far as I understand it, this material stops contact tasings. A light weight t shirt would not stop the probes, so if someone fires a taser at you, you need a flak jacket as well as the t shirt.
I am told that there is a technique that can break the probes off - something about immediately falling and rolling away from the taser, but I've never tried it, so I can't vouch for its efficacity.
Shane @ Feb 9th 2008 6:54AM
So...The same method applies for whether you're on fire or you've been tazed? Stop, drop and roll? Once you've been tazed I suspect you don't have much control over your actions...
BigD145 @ Feb 9th 2008 2:18PM
Stop, drop, and roll also works for lava and nuclear fallout.
Brian @ Feb 9th 2008 5:56AM
Good. Now we can go back to shooting / killing people who resist authority. Way to go anti-taser community!
carl @ Feb 9th 2008 7:17AM
you know i am corrections officer and i use the x 26 taser and i tell u what i know that stuff will be very pricey and if u have to go through all of that not to be tased u need to be shot lol
GhostDoggy @ Feb 9th 2008 9:08AM
Too funny. It'll just turn into a "beat me with a stick" scenario instead of a tazering.
Bad Beaver @ Feb 9th 2008 9:47AM
You can't taze that!
*whack!*
Hammer time!
*dumm du du dum*
Adam @ Feb 9th 2008 8:18PM

i hate these comments. i hope you all don't ever get ahold of this material.
Geoff @ Feb 10th 2008 7:05PM
wow I might be able to survive Vancouver airport with one of these
exilio @ Feb 11th 2008 4:08AM
That's okay -- now instead of tazing, officers can beat you with a baton. Nice upgrade eh? I'd rather be tazed.
