Sony Ericsson's high-end G700i leaked?
Alright, we've got to admit, this looks like a pretty real press rendering to us, so we're going to bite. This here is allegedly Sony Ericsson's G700i, one of two members of the all-new "G" line allegedly being introduced at Mobile World Congress this week; if the previously-leaked specs hold up, it'll include a 3.2 megapixel camera and a 2.5-ish inch display but lack WiFi, which is where its G900i big sib comes into the picture. Seeing how Sony Ericsson's MWC press conference is within shouting distance at this point, we'll have this all sorted out soon enough.

How is this high end? My microwave has a 3.2mp camera...
Agreed. The K850i already has a 5MP camera.
Ideally, it would need a 8MP camera to be truly high-end for a new SE phone.
Did I say High-End? As posted below this seems to be the new K820i.
BTW: High-End /= X MP.
Could be worse, you could have a iPhone with 2.0mp...
psh. 1.3mp is where its at biotch!
Here's a picture of the complete Line-Up. Have a look at the right side of the bottom :) :

Is that three analog sticks I spy? Seems a bit silly.

For a high end phone, I'd expect it to look a little cooler. But Sony has never really made any awsome looking phones.
You own a nokia, dont you?
Agreed, Sony does not do well in the aesthetic department. Their phones may be high end, but they are ugly as hell
I would agree if you said Ericsson. They used to make the ugliest phones on the market. They even admitted it at one point (then merged with Sony).
Ignoring smartphones, I think Sony-Ericsson is above average in the looks department. Yeah, they make some ugly phones, but so do all the companies. I have a Nokia N80 for example.
yeah i have a W300i. looked cool at the store but the orange and black got old after a few months.
T610 was a beauty, so I wouldn't say that they never made beautiful phones. Both Nokia and S-E had miss and hits with their aesthetic designs.
So this is the announcement thread at engadget? Check out the X1 then!

Latest offering: not good enough I'm afraid, Sony.
It's up on SE's site now: http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/products/mobilephones/overview/g700?cc=gb%2Cus&lc=en%2Cen
Any word on the hardware ie the processor? All functionality aside, it sucks if its slower then the 620Mhz ARM in the iPhone....
