the fact that I'm not blown away by shiny blinky does not mean I do not own a smart phone. I dunno, I guess as a programmer I know it really doesn't take that much cpu power to do a few simple xy tweens. xscale cpu or not. it's less a matter of sony doing micracles, and more a matter of for ONCE someone, somewhere hired a programmer that knew a thing or two.
So every phone programmer before has been inexperienced and done a bad job? If only we could clone you so we could put the best programmer to work on all our products. You sound like an arrogant asshole.

honestly, use your noggin for one second, you're telling me I'M arrogant for saying that 400mhz (xscale or not) should easily be able to move a couple objects a few frames.
YES, any program that can't handle this would have to be inefficently made.
