Samsung shows off M310 Ultra Mobile Pocket Imager projector
Nah, Samsung's M310 isn't nearly as diminutive as its MBP-100, but it's still quite the cutie. Hailed as an Ultra Mobile Pocket Imager, this DLP device features a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 150 ANSI lumens, VGA input, SVGA native resolution and a pleasantly small footprint. Mum's the word on an official price / release date, but we've all ideas this is one case where more won't cost less.

I still don't think they're small enough to use the word "pocket". Get me a picture of someone with one of those in their pockets and then we can consider it.
andre the giant?
Yeah, what's up with companies just throwing around words? Several cell phone companies toss around the word "unlimited" in reference to their data plans; another electronics company the word "Ultra-Mobile" on something that clearly isn't--c'mon, we all know which one this is. What happened to truth in advertising?
Still, I buy these companies' crap, regardless, so I cannot be too affected.
I played with one of the pocket projectors about a year ago. It was similar in size to the MBP-100, and it actually fit in my front pant pocket. Of course, there is room for nothing else, and it looks really weird to walk around with a giant block at the front of your pants.
small valleys/ravines are sometimes called pockets- would it fit in one of those?
Did Andre the Giant even have pockets? And for what could he possibly use an Ultra-Mobile Pocket Imager projector?
andre the giant could use the pico projector as his fucking wrist watch man.
don't ask, just imagine.
At 150 lumens it would only be useful in total darkness.
Is that a projector in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me???
Call me crazy but I came here with the hopes of seeing an 'Ultra Mobile Pocket Image Projector'... which this, quite clearly, is not.
Absolutely terrible branding Samsung.
Sorry, a bit of spam in my ear, could you say that again?
hmm, i think your sarcasm was lost on our romanian friend here judging by his repeat below. funny, using "/" instead of "." for URLs hasn't gotten me very far
if you get hit by a car, the world won't miss you.
