Creative working on a "Zen Share" WiFi music player?
Rumors of a brand new Creative music player looking exactly like this are unconfirmed at the moment, but we do have a pretty solid lead on the name: Zen Share. That word comes from the mouth of epiZENter.net, and why would a self-termed Creative fansite lie about something like this? Apparently the player does WiFi sharing, but that's all we've got to go on at the moment, so let your imagination run wild. Zen to Zune to iPod wireless sharing? In a world of magic, anything is possible.

If Satan celebrated Christmas, this is what he would give to children.

I would be totally down with this if Creative didn't put on any DRM condoms on the music.

I'm a little worried about the 3 switches in the top right..

Nevermind
You are bidding on a sesame street toy noisemaker that has been modified by me. You can get some great samples out of this device, and it looks good on stage as well. Unit has been modified with two 2 phase speed/pitch control switches and a general distortion glitch switch. Unit has also been fitted with an RCA audio output jack. I added a switch to turn off the internal speaker, however I forgot it was a load-bearing speaker, so the sound is distorted. When making samples through the RCA jack it's best to leave the switch on.
This unit can make many unique samples. You can hear just one example HERE.

Very intuitive controls. A breakthrough user interface for the masses.

Good one!

for some reason, I don't think that is it....

Imagine the popularity if they did this and allowed it to work without zune-style exploding DRM. It would be like bittorrent for your pocket. They could included an RIAA lawsuit court date in the box.

ZOMG what the hell is that in the picture? If you know anything about pianos, you'll know it's even worse with four black keys like that.

Must we always get an anti-Creative joke in, Engadget?

I with you, tcardone05. Rumours from Apple fan sites are almost always eventually right, but no, nothing from the pathetic un-iPod sites.
Why do I even come here? Probably because I'm needy.
