@ScooterDe: Sorry, I misspoke (it's 6am over here)...You're right, I was remembering it wrong. When I traveled though Europe in the summer of 2000, they were posting the prices of everything in the local currency and Euro (preparatory to the conversion). Anyways, I do remember now that I could use the Euro amount as a rough estimate of how many USD the item was (because of the near 1:1 exchange), in my cloudy mind I was confusing the Euro with the Deutsche Mark which was at the 1:2 ratio back then.
