Samsung has already announced a 500GB 2.5" drive earlier in the year that, although a triple platter design, still adheres to the standard 9.5mm height.http://www.samsung.com/us/business/semiconductor/newsView.do?news_id=892Been waiting for this one since CES. Due out 1st half 2008.
Let's see if Samsung can deliver a reliable drive though.
