Our feminist theory classes in college left us in the mindset that lady-tailored devices can probably do better than pink, but hey, if you're looking for something retractable with U3 and 8GB of storage, SanDisk just added this new $80 Cruzer Fleur to their lineup.

Good lord! It does double duty as a pregnancy test!
ssdforums @ Feb 28th 2008 9:04PM
$80? I heard the PCB is made by Gucci
RyanTV @ Feb 28th 2008 9:29PM
I got my wife a 4GB one for $28. No way I'd pay $80 for this one though.
linumax @ Feb 28th 2008 9:51PM
Well, as a rule of thumb you get the cheaper one for your wife and the more expensive one for your girlfriend!
Killer @ Feb 28th 2008 10:22PM
But it's pink and has flowers on it!? It's got to be worth 80 dollars! :p
Jason @ Feb 29th 2008 12:47AM
"Wait, rule of thumb? In the early 1900s it was legal for men to beat their wives, as long as they used a stick no wider than their thumb."
"Well, can't do much damage with that then, can we? Perhaps it should have been a rule of wrist?"
Anyone, anyone identify that quote, eh? Shouldn't be too hard, just don't google it you techy-bastards.

@Jason:
I'll take Boondock Saints for $400, alex.

bdkennedy1 @ Feb 28th 2008 9:31PM

z3r0D @ Feb 28th 2008 9:44PM
Were it really, really, really, really small, Yes.
kojo87 @ Feb 28th 2008 10:07PM
U3 is a selling point? im still trying to get it off my 2GB Cruzer. i cant stand the stupid thing. all its done for me is screw me over by making my USB drive incompatible with the school computers so i couldnt print my paper.
Dakaling @ Feb 28th 2008 10:27PM
You can get an uninstall utility for U3 @ http://www.u3.com/uninstall/uninstall.aspx
kojo87 @ Feb 28th 2008 10:54PM
thank you!! my old 1GB Cruzer i just formatted the drive and U3 was gone. didnt work on my new one for some reason.
Juaquin @ Feb 29th 2008 12:07AM
U3 can be *ahem* modified for more nefarious things, because it loads as both a CD drive (enabling the drive to autoplay some program on the drive) and the normal flash drive. Any good spyware suite will catch this but it's interesting nonetheless just for the fun of messing with it. Not very practical for this drive, but if you find a cheap 1GB U3 drive lying around, take some time to play with it.
SimonRichards @ Feb 28th 2008 10:31PM
Well at least its tasteful.
At least compared to all the jewel-encrusted, pink glitzy creations that have been appearing.
RapidKiller @ Feb 28th 2008 10:43PM
not digging the pick, blue maybe but never pink
whatishalo? @ Feb 28th 2008 11:40PM
They would sell many(many) more if it vibrated too....
phrank @ Feb 29th 2008 1:17AM
Agreed....But wouldn't it need to be plugged into the computer for that to work? I don't know too many women who would so eagerly hump a computer...Insert blonde joke, or hipster Mac fangirl joke, here.
Empress Penguin @ Feb 29th 2008 1:13AM
I won't worry my pretty little head about buying your exorbitantly priced USB drive, SanDisk, even if it does come in a lovely shade of sexism.
Jill @ Feb 29th 2008 2:29AM
This trend of pink gadgets needs to end.
Zorque @ Feb 29th 2008 5:40AM
Even the shape kinda looks like a, um... lady item. I'm a little grossed out.
Misty @ Feb 29th 2008 7:35AM
I fail at feminism. I like it. x.x
Jo Lo @ Feb 29th 2008 5:25PM
I'd rather buy the Olinari Dog Tag USB.
Check it. http://olinari.com
