Easy 1.1.4 jailbreaking with iNdependence, Ziphone, and... iTunes?

If you happen to own an iPhone, and you happen to have updated to the 1.1.4 firmware, you can now easily jailbreak, activate, and unlock your phone with a couple of simple solutions. As you may have heard, iNdependence 1.4 beta 5 is out, which will do all sorts of non-Apple approved things to your device from OS X, though if you're looking for the ultimate cross-platform solution, you probably can't do better than the latest version Zibri's all-in-one package, Ziphone 2.5. Both apps make it about a million times easier than this was a few weeks ago, though we've seen video of a new solution -- jailbreaking directly from iTunes -- that could make this process even simpler (though considerably more illegal). I just want a jailbreak for my iPod Touch 1.1.3, only reason I bought it over other devices is because of the jailbreaking capabilities. I knew I should have just hunted around for a non 1.1.3 version... since I don't feel like going through the hassle of downgrading to jailbreak it right now.

im in australia and used that three days ago (iNdependence) it was awesome. i usally used Ziphone to do it but iNdependence is way faster and easier to understand. if anyone wants an iphone but is scared to unlock it, it is so easy and simple to do. and im 14

Also in Aust (sydney)with an unlocked iphone (Ziphone)
I'm looking for someone to help me with sms and edge on Optus.

I seems i to need two mobile phone numbers for each person. 1 for SMS auto formats in the [phone] format and the other in standard 0407891011 format for calls.

If i only have 0407891011 and an SMS comes in, it doesn't recognise who it came from. And vice versa.

This is really annoying....Help!!

Also help in setting up Optus Edge.

Can you help or point me in the right direction.

i have the same problem with the "number thing" and still dont know what to do sorry.
i dont think Australia even has a edge network do they?
i just use wi-fi.
you might want to call optus and just ask them if they have edge or not, or check their website and see if you can do anything.

I did a jailbreak on my iphone version 1.1.3 using ZiphoneOSX , is it O.K to update to 1.1.4 when itunes prompts?
Will this affect unlocked iphone?
