LG.Philips hooking Syntax-Brillian up with LCD panels
Not even two months after Syntax-Brillian announced that it would be acquiring at least 700,000 LCD panels from Sharp during 2008, along comes word that the firm will also be on the receiving end of a similar deal with LG.Philips -- er, LG Display, we should say. Nomenclature aside, the agreement between the two asserts that LG.Philips (or whatever it becomes) will supply Syntax-Brillian "with a minimum of 750,000 LCD panels during 2008," though it's certainly not the first deal of its kind. More specifically, it'll provide 32-, 37-, 42- and 47-inch Full HD units, and the option to purchase additional inventory remains alive. So much teamwork in the LCD industry -- those other sectors could stand to learn a thing or two.

Olevia's stock is down to $.82 today - they're about to be delisted on March 4 from the stock exchange unless they get some sort of stay granted (they didn't get their Q4 '07 financials in on time - very bad.

BRLC closed up 35% today...one of the top 5 gainers of the day.

What are you talking about???? Syntax-Brillian is one of the best Budget TVs out there.. They also have been getting LCD screens from LG for a while now and my Series 2 still looks way better than most of their competition out there. (Vizio and even most of the Samsung models) This post is about the TV and the new LCD screens they are putting in them. Not about the companies stocks… lol.. Please buy into them now. Millions of middle class homes are going to be buying these things up once they start advertising more. A little hint… Most Electronic stores put the low-end HDTVs on regular coaxial or composite video so they can sell the more expensive ones to earn more commission. Truthfully I think my Olevia 42in Series 2 still looks better than the new Samsung series…. Remember… It’s the LCD panels that count… basically your buying a LG/Phillips for way cheaper then Sony and Samsung…
