And you thought Microsoft had trouble with piracy in Asia. Just look at what Egypt is doing to the new Windows... potato chips. Now with real Ballmer batter!

Southwest Asia (or Middle East, Near East or West Asia) This can also be called by the Western term Middle East, which is commonly used by Europeans and Americans. Middle East (to some interpretations) is often used to also refer to some countries in North Africa. Southwest Asia can be further divided into: Anatolia (i.e. Asia Minor), constituting the Asian part of Turkey. The island nation of Cyprus in the Mediterranean Sea. The Levant or Near East, which includes Syria, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq and the Asian portion of Egypt. The Arabian peninsula, including Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Yemen and Kuwait. The Caucasus region (which straddles both Asia and Europe), namely Transcaucasia, including a small portion of Russia and, arguably, most if not all of Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan. The Iranian Plateau, including Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. See also: Regions of the Middle East and Gulf States
@ snorbalp: bla bla bla... stop, stop. what circles?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Egypt is a 100% African country, from left to right. It is part of the Arab world, but not in the Asian content list of countries, not any part of it. That's why when they have some sort of a sport competition that has something to do with Africa, they compete with other African countries, they never compete with Asian countries; this also goes with all other sort of political issues.
No circles, no squares, Egypt is African, and Engadget got it wrong.
I'm from Egypt and I eat those as a snack every now and then. It looks like they've changed the 4-part logo to a 6-part one obviously to avoid copyright issues. I've never noticed this before. And who on earth sent you that image?!
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
Looks like its even damaged on delivery :)
Damn, look at the windows logo now....
See kids, that's what crack does to you. Stay away.
hmmmm baked. just like everyone at windows these days.
err microsoft.....w/e
You could notice that they are next to the dumpster and not on the shelf, which is fitting that no one buys them.
P.s. I prefer to buy "APPLE" instead (Pun intended)
Hmm, Windows chips...too many bugs.
Did anyone notice that the tree seems to have a face?
Here, I've enhanced it for those who missed it:

Aww, sad tree wants windows..
Whatever ketchup-flavored goop is in that bottle, it has got to be better than Windows. YUCK! :-)

*brakes neck trying to read it*
You have to hit the accelerator, not the brake..

OK, the scary lack of jokes about his misspell made me wonder who was right, so I did a Google Fight:

Candidate for most misspelled word on teh internet?
Never heard of googlefight before but I gave it a try hoping it could help me with an age old question, but it didn't help me out a bit hmpf.. look for yourself, it's a tie! http://www.googlefight.com/index.php?lang=en_GB&word1=oral&word2=anal
Do they come in Home Premium sized chips? Because i cant afford the Ultimate chips, besides; they have heaps of stuff ill never eat.
So Egypt is in Asia?
in some circles, yes - it is.

Er, no, I was contrasting Asian piracy with what's happening in Egypt.
Thomas
@ Saad Rabia
you know that Egypt is in Africa & Asia right ?
Sorry Thomas. :)
Egypt is in Africa and Asia.
The Egyptian land "Sinai" is in Asia.
@saad - meh.
Ballmer batter?!? WTF? DO NOT WANT!
Aww, he only wanted to "squirt" it to your Zune. You know you want it.
NO.
Are these chips manufactured on the 45nm manufacturing process? I hear they have 64k of L1-TasteCache but their L2 is only 512k.

I always knew that "chips" had something to do with Windows.
well if it was windows it wouldnt be finished, so youre buying a 10lb box of sliced potatoes unfried
now available in S.P.3; special sauce # 3!
so... ss3?
I see Chester is still represent'n.
Yo holmes. Chester will come back someday... After all, it's where the hoagie was invented!
Meanwhile, I have to install push bumpers on my Jeep, and carry a knife with me everywhere!
Who's Ballmer?
Stupid renegade replies, that was supposed to go to Snorbalp.
Rotate is your friend. Sure the rest of the context would be sideways, but the main subject would be more readable.
Also, note that this isn't just any Windows, there are 2 extra panes AND it's smiling. So, it must be much better an upgrade than Vista was.
It would be even better if it was AMD chips. Think about all the Americans who would be excited that AMD finally put out their long delayed chips!
How do I install it? Do I pour the ketchup inside the DVD drive?
That's no 'DVD Drive', it's the ketchup holder!
You mean HD-DVD drive? :D
Mmm Windows, as smooth as ketchup
I tried those once - I felt all bloated and slow.
You'll never need more than a 640g bag.
Has to taste better than rotten apples...
i see what you did there.

Slow news day huh.
at least this one is useful
The best part of that picture is the Mercedes in the background.
