I have FiOS, and they have brought the evil practice of contracts from wireless ogilopoly hell to residential internet. Do DSL and Cable companies have contracts? nope, just Verizon.
Oh, and did Sprint, T-Mobile, or AT&T make a frivolous lawsuit to the FCC regarding this very block? Nope. Verizon is evil, evil.

I have DirecTV and guess what... I have a stinking 2 yr contract. You're naive if you think the other carriers are saints.
