I just watched this movie like a week ago. What a pioneer Clarke was. I think you're forgetting the ultimate gadget: Hal. I mean come on, he reads lips, plays chess, sings Daisy pretty well... oh... well and kills people. Well, how about one of those pods? Or the Monolith? That thing does EVERYTHING!
