you're almost right about this, though: "There was no "warrantless domestic wiretapping" even under the expired Patriot act." ...you just forgot to put "legal" in that sentence. The point, though, is that it WAS done, and done so illegally. (if it was legal, or if it wasn't done, what's the point of seeking retroactive legal immunity?)
