no he means an antenna on the roof. Clearly you are under 40 and don't remember when VHF antennas littered the roof tops of most homes because rabbit ear antennas weren't adequate to get some channels.
By the way, as much as y9ou younger kids think you know everything, you don't so listen to you elders..
