@ ScOObyDoo Except there are these things called contracts. Apple in order to get some revenue kickback signed one with ATT promising iPhone exclusivity for a certain amount of years. Even if Apple "got the message", legally they would be in some bad water if they tried to act upon "the message" due to contracts.
When will people learn that "opening up" a device is not in Apple's nature (and I like Apple).
