Motorola's Z9 with GPS goes for a ride on AT&T

Just like we heard, AT&T is now offering Motorola's MOTO Z9. $150 (after $50 on-line discount and 2-yr contract) nabs the new slider with GPS for AT&T's rebranded TeleNav service -- now called AT&T Navigator. It's also stuffed with microSD expansion, stereo Bluetooth, and quad-band GSM with WCDMA 850/1900 supporting 3.6Mbps HSDPA data. Surprisingly, the 2 megapixel camera we saw in the early prototype last year has been whittled back to 1.3 megapixels. Come on Moto, what's 0.7 megapixels between friends?
[Thanks, Mark and Orhan C.]
Update: AT&T's bad! The camera's still a full 2 megapixels after all -- we just confirmed it.

Does anyone else think that motorolas phone range is get stale and samey?
As a college student in middle-of-nowhere America, I can tell you that the teens and twenty-somethings are totally disinterested in Motorola.
It's interesting.
lol discocat, its nice of you to come out from under that rock.
"lol discocat, its nice of you to come out from under that rock.", said someone who's (presumably) still using a moto v3xx :O oh the irony
stuuupid. thats the name i've been using for years. thank you very much asshole.
hey v3xx are you saying that my name is the name you've used for ages or "v3xx is the name youve used for ages?
i've used the name v3xx for the last 6 years and i was agreeing with you on my first point.
wow v3xx, i like your "i'm cool and funny if i make fun of you, but you're an asshole if you do the same to me" mentality. insecure/immature much?
seems like it's time for you to stop using your diaper, wean off the formula, and do some growing up.
The specs listed on the website are wrong. It is a 2MP camera and it even says so on the back of the phone.
I just got this phone and it is 2megapixel so the phone says on it love it to
Yup, most sites say the Z9 is still using a 2 MP camera. Not that it really matters if nobody is going to buy it. Judging from Engadget comments, I gather everyone had a Motorola handset at one time, but got rid of it right away because it was a piece of junk.
