Big deal...
I'll get excited when they manufacture a controller for a man's hands. Either that, or some sort of Super-Nunchuks (i.e. not the wussy Wii variety).
A lot of u are just whiney, complainey ass bitches who have nothing better to do but complain about things in life.
There is nothing wrong with Sony adding vibration back to their controllers. They couldn't put it in the PS3 controllers, originally, because of that lawsuit from Immersion, and, Ken, was only trying the hype route.
Vibration functionality is status quo, and won't be going anywhere.
As for the controller, itself, it's perfectly fine, to me. If u don't like the controllers or the PS3 or Sony, for that matter, WHATEVER, GO DO SOMETHING ELSE, THEN. Sheesh.
I care more about the advancement of the games technology, moreso along the line of animations and what characters can do and interact with each other and environments.
Really, what else do u want a controller to do?? Growup and stop acting like spoiled bitch ass babies. This country is overpopulated with bitch-males. Wtf?
you can grab some in new york too since last week. i found a wall of them in the circuit city on 86th and broadway. vibrating things are awesome
Can't wait to pick one up for games like GT5 and MGS4. I'll just ebay the original for like $30 so this should only cost me around $25.
does this mean an update so games like COD ill have that functionality because I'v had these for months now and never noticed. Then again most of my games are on 360 and the ps 3 gets limited use.
I think the really only valid point out of all these comments is that $54 is way too much for a controller (on ANY console), which shows why I don't really have extra controllers for my systems.
that's weird... i work at ebgames in Canada.. and we've got them about a week ago... and we've been selling them the day we got them... i think march 31st...
I sent this news in two days ago... I got my DS3 on Saturday at Electronics Boutique in South Burlington, Vermont.
I preorderd mine from Circuit City, and it came last Friday the fourth. It was suppoed to come out the seventh. I was just lucky I guess.
LOL, I saw like 30 of them at fries 2 days ago... Not big news for me...
This is accurate.
I work at the Hanover MD CC, and we have them out on the floor.
Its amazing the design looks nothing like its predecessor or does it... They should of changed the name Quadshock, just keep making it multiples of two doesn't it always go that way, screw it I'm buying a nintendo controller and modding it!
The controllers aren't going to move off the shelf at all. Remember, all the PS3 fanboys insist that the system doesn't need rumble. ;-P
