Super-Talent Pico USB drives: lose 'em even faster
Score, another "world's smallest" USB drive. Never seen one of those before. Super-Talent's latest Pico drives are mighty small though, and if one of you is somehow running the Tiny USB Hall of Records, it measures just 1.5 by .5 inches and holds 8GB in swivel, retractable, and waterproof versions. $35, should be out now.

The waterproof feature will be good for the people like me who'd be inclined to leave it in their jeans pockets as they go through the wash...
if only my iPod had been!
There is such thing as too small. Going past a certain point, reduced size is a disadvantage. Hard to handle and easy to lose.

That would work great if you had one of those new ultra-thin Apple laptops... whatever the hell those pieces of garbage are called... that way you could actually access the otherwise pathetically tiny and poorly designed USB port! Wow! Concept! Functionality in something for once!
And I'm not a fan of the ultra-small size, though I've got to agree with the point made by Tyguy about it fitting into his wallet. It's good for people who use it like that. For the rest of us schleps who're using USB jumpdrives for moving files around and shit but who don't constantly need to have it on hand for IT breakdowns, the bigger ones with lanyards or on keychains should work just fine.
Can anyone tell me if it's WindowsBoost compatible? Seems like a nice, cheap way to get 8gigs of cache. That, and it's so small it takes up barely any room so it won't be such a problem just leaving it in when I move the guy around.
As a couple of posters had already commented, A-DATA has a microSD card USB reader that's even smaller, at 21.5 x 12 x 2.2 mm (rounded UP in inches that's 0.85 x 0.47 x 0.087 in ). Whereas the Pico C is 31.3 x 12.4 x 3.4 mm.

NewEgg sells the USB reader bundled with 2GB microSD card for $11.99:

A-DATA also bundles the reader with microSDHC cards 4GB (or larger) but I haven't found these larger bundles to buy yet. NewEgg does sell A-DATA's 8GB microSDHC card by itself for $49.99, which you can then insert in the reader to get the world's smallest 8GB USB drive (which also seems to be water resistant). :-) I can't wait for 16GB or larger microSDHC cards to become available...
any idea where can i get one in UK?
It's not on ebay uk, amazon uk, and play, yet.
These are perfectly well designed for corporate espionage work like smuggling secret electronic documents out of an office.........in your ass.
Of course you may be pushing the extremity of testing its imperviousness to the elements.
Avoiding Taco Bell for lunch that day would be well advised.
