Limited edition gunmetal gray MGS4 PS3 coming to America, hearts flutter

It's no secret that we've been drooling over all the hot limited-edition Metal Gear Solid 4 swag that Sony and Konami are dishing out in Japan, but it looks like a select few in this country will be able to score the baddest of them all: the gunmetal gray PS3 / MGS4 bundle with matching DualShock 3. Yep, it's coming Stateside on June 12th like the rest of the MGS4 editions and the standard 80GB PS3 / MGS4 bundle, but you'd better get in line now, because we're told it's going to be extremely limited in availability, and we're calling one. We can do that, right? Say yes.

Shiny is out. Unless you're a professional rap star who drives around on blingin' rides and has flashy platinum teeth, then you are just one of the many sheep in the herd.

Flat matte is in. C300, CLS, Xbox 360 Elite, and now this bad ass PS3.

Oh I didn't realize we were on a 4-year gloss/matte cycle. If I recall, matte painted cars were popular around 2000 too, when it was called primer. I like my car paint glossy personally, not because I care how they look, but because they're a lot easier to clean.

Seriously though, if you're one of those "you must always only buy whatever is IN and do what everyone else does" types then I truly feel sorry for you.

The gunmetal LE PS3 should be the 40GB model, like the JP version. The standard MGS PS3 (white box) should be the 80GB model.
