It depends on what you mean by "tops." The HVX does 1080 in 24p which looks as close to film as I've seen from a prosumer camera and Final Cut natively supports the P2 card. That said, the HVX does not have interchangeable lenses and only has a 1/3" CCD. Of course, it's less than half the price reported here, so, ya' know, there's definitely a place in the indie film market for the HVX.
