Bug Labs' Hiro P edition BUGbase kit gets unboxed
You may not be able to get your hands on one at the moment, but those that missed out on the initial shipment of Bug Labs' open source BUGbase Hiro P edition kit can now at least make believe like one arrived on their own doorstep, thanks to the set of unboxing photos kindly provided by Flickr user finsprings. That set also helpfully includes size comparisons to a Blackberry and a first gen iPod nano (the base is bigger than both, but not by as much as you may think), and of course plenty of shots of the packing itself. Check all that out at the read link below.

"Bug Labs' Hiro P edition BUGbase kit" - WTF is one of those?!...
Hey, stop being lazy - put down the dorritos and go here: http://www.buglabs.net/
I must admit, I had to follow the links in the article in order to remind myself what the hell one of they is.
And I dont even like Doritos.
@GamDa: I guessed from the packaging that it contained www.missbimbo.com accessories - and then got back to my Blazin' Buffalo & Ranch Doritos...
I want to see it powered up. That is one thing I have yet to see in the past, almost 2 years.
Pink?? Why pink!!!!??? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY??????????
Pink is the color used to signify antistatic packaging. I think it's an arbitrary-picked color, but it's a standard used worldwide.
That's a lot of pink. Wow.
Why can't there just be a link in the article to buglabs.net? Is that too difficult?
Every link in this, and in every other article is inward, to other Engadget articles.
I like the cute nod to Neal Stephenson.
I came here for the Hiro Protagonist references and you did not disappoint, sir!
Hey, can I have the foam padding?
I like the box.
so it comes with lots of bugs? the software.......
