Whoops! Apple's gone and leaked its brand new aluminum MacBook and redesigned MacBook Pros to the interblogs. Yeah, it seems old Jobsy has really loosened the binds over in Cupertino -- he doesn't care what gets out these days. No, but seriously, some cats on the internet supposedly discovered a .Mac page which appears to display mockups (or actual product renderings) for a new line of laptops, as well as adverts for iTunes 8 and iPhones in the 32GB variety (for Australia, naturally). Of course, this is wild, crazy, unfounded speculation, and likely has no basis in reality at all. Then again, you never know... stranger things have happened. Steve, we await your takedown requests. This has got to be a fake. Even though that Apple logo on the iTunes 8 screenshot is the same one used for the site advertising the upcoming Russian iTunes store. I absolutely love the current design of the MBP and hope it isn't changed. Black keys would look terrible. Besides, it looks like they just took an image of a MBP off the Apple site made the keys black and called it a MacBook. The MacBook Pro screen looks like it was cut and pasted from an image of an iMac and copied onto a bigger MBP image.

'Aluminium' is not a typo. It's spelled correctly. Well... at least in the UK it is :)
Fake or not hopefully they will do more than change the case and add multi-touch. I would love to see a 11" macbook slimed down and a weight in the 2-3lb with a blueray drive. I am partial to my black macbook, despite it showing every finger touch as a nice grease mark, the aluminum wouldn't cut it for me, but would be a nice replacement to the white. If this isn't fake I am looking forward to more hardware specs as that would be the only real reason I would buy a new one.
