HTC spy shot reveals handful of new phones
Apparently, HTC is having a little trouble keeping people with cameras out of its offices, as evidenced by this totally great spy shot of a what appears to be a bunch of (or two) new phones. We're familiar with quite of few of these devices, like the TyTn II, Touch Cruise, and Touch you see in the upper row, but things get a little stickier down below. Save for that P3470 that's second from left, we have no clue what those slick looking square numbers are. The far left model and the far right might be the same device, but its hard to tell. It also looks like all the devices in this picture are using Windows Mobile, but we're holding out hope that maybe the model on the far right boots Android... and soon.

Update: So we figure that one of the two on the right is likely the MDA compact IV for T-Mobile, although that still doesn't explain the generous QWERTY board depicted over there on the left. Can't you just feel the excitement building? Thanks, Marios!

HTC Diamond replacing the Touch & HTC Raphael aka Tytn III replacing the Tytn II. Both are shown and both should be announced on May 6, hopefully and both with VGA displays.
So... which ones pictured are the Diamond and Raphael?
I really like the first column. The two phones on the very left are really nice looking, and I love the keys on the keypad. I think the very top one already exists.
I really hope they run the latest WinMo 6.1 (along with support for WinMo 7!)
I wish there were phones that combined touchscreens and mini keyboards as well. In case you don't feel like using the touch part, you have the option to use your keyboard for better texting. I doubt these two are touch enabled since they have rather puny screens.
The top row, and the second from the right on the bottom already exist
All the existing ones are touch, and so are the others we suspect.
Bottom left = HTC Raphael (aka TYTN III, P4600). VGA Touchscreen, Qualcomm M7200 CPU (400Mhz) plus cool D-Pad with white LED backlights.
No excuse for such a bad image given todays readily accessible technology. Those bottom right ones look lush, contender for my N95?
can i haz bottom left please?
and.... they all look as boring and unattractive as the ones currently on the market! I wish both MS and smartphone designers would get it in gear and actually make a product that is a attractive, and fun to use.
Guess I will stick with the iphone for a few more years...
They are called smartphones because they are feature filled and productive if you want a fun phone then enjoy your iphone or buy a regular phone.
Did you know 90 percent of the guys that claim to own Iphone are either gay or compensating for other shortcomings? So tell me ajfarson how smooth is that Iphone really? Worthless fanboiy garbage. It’s like the Euro-trash you see all over New York now. All though I’m sure that Ajfarson lives in San Fran..
when motarola sees this, they will shit bricks
the one second from the left on the bottom row looks alot like the tmobile shadow 2 that is coming out later this year. the only thing is it has the touchflo interface and not the tmobile interface. I cant wait for the htc dream
I look forward to May 6th. I hope these new phones would have the following features:
1. VGA screen
2. XGA output
3. Mobile TV: DVB-T and DVB-H
And Mr. Blurrycamera is here to save the day!
Is it me or does the bottom right corner phone look like it has an apple logo on the bottom middle? Just throwing it out there....
can they introduce a phone with a better battery life?
pweeze?
