Nokia E71 sneaks into the wild once again
Nokia's having a bit of trouble keeping its E71 QWERTY business phone under wraps, with that initial sighting in January, and now another couple in-the-wild shots to keep us interested. If anything this serves confirm those previous shots, but it's nice to see some autofocus on this 3.2 megapixel puppy. If our powers of badly-translated Chinese deduction are correct, the third picture of the set could be the E66, but we're not jumping to any conclusions just yet.

Ha.. The pictures are taken with a SE K850i.
Ah you beat me to it!
I was about to say the same too.
damnit :-) oh the irony!
doh! I'm another late one!
This was also the first thing i thought.
Oh the irony.

Wow, this really is the best spy shot I can remember seeing.
Ever.
Kudos, picture taker, kudos.
how do you know, is it the number on the bottom? I have a k790a and it doesn't leave anything
on another note it looks like the Android concept
You. Can. See. The. Phone. Reflected. In. One. Of. The. Shots.
So they copy the style of the iphone with the keypad of a Blackberry?
This is never gonna be a big hit in America simply because everyone either wants an iPhone or a Sidekick.
Save this for the Asian markets.
they dont copy the style of the iphone and the blackberry. nokia had phone with lots of buttons since quite some time, just as well as they had phones with a metal frame way before the iphone.
dont want to start a fanboy flame -i like all three of them phones- but you are not correct.

How the heck is that a Blackberry-style keyboard? Look again.
People still want sidekicks?
Google "E61 or E61i"! Enough said.
If this phone is built as good as the E61i and comes with North America 3G (especially T-Mobile), I would buy this instead of the SE Xperia.
Its about time they actually released the damned thing. I hope they make at least one phone with a keyboard similar to the E70 - thats the best form factor for a phone ever.
+1. Hell yeah. A thinner, lighter butterfly with a bigger screen. I love my E70 but its getting on years.
Add me to the E70 admiration club.
It was so butt ugly and weird, but it worked so well. I've never used a better mobile keyboard in my life and the screen was sensational.
Slim it down, give it S60 v3 FP2/more RAM/HSDPA and I'd buy it in an instant.

All I want is my US 3G E90. PLEASE NOKIA!
we just need to get rid of the FCC, and then we can have all the cool phones and devices available in Europe, Japan, and The Middle East
Looks a lot like E51. Only bigger.
Good thing. Say what you will about Nokia, the E51 is a gem. Functional, unobtrusive, well made.
I would love this as a replacement to my E62. Hopefully, they'll have added more memory so it is no longer so slow
Would love to see something like this for Sprint. I have Tmobile as my main phone and have an N76 there, but keep a PDAish phone as my secondary phone. Right now I have the Mogul, but it's annoying. I would like something else and pref something better for using with one hand.
Haha, we got a company-wide email blast @ Nok this morning warning us against leaking pictures and using pre-release devices in public...guess this might have something to do with it.
that can't be a spy shot, it's not blurry enough!
Nokia: Oh, I know! Lets reinvent the wheel, and call it new... Looks like any other Palm/Blackberry clone to me...
Oh my. Ever considered that these open qwerty phones might actually be a segment? E62, E61 and E61i was a hit so of course they are making successor.
BB dosen exist in many countries and well Palm might be sold, but nobody buys them in Europe and Asia so it's back to Symbian.
If this is 10mm thin as it's supposed, full qwerty and 3,2mpx camera i got a say it sounds pretty good.
Give me one of these, with T-Mo-USA 3G, Bluetooth FTP and DUN, and Maemo or Android, and I'll be in pig heaven. (yeah, I'd prefer a side-slide qwerty keyboard will full-face screen, but lately I've been thinking this style is ok too)
If it's also compatible with AT&T 3G, and Euro-3G, all in one device, well, I'll buy one the day it comes out. Not that I ever plan to use AT&T, but flexibility is an attractive feature.
On the other hand, if it runs Symbian, I'll think about it, but wont be likely to buy it. Luckily, this is Nokia, so I don't have to come up with scenarios for what I'd do if it runs Win-Mo.
huh.........Nokia sux
No1. in lousy product quality, phones software may crash itself for no reason.
No1. in customer service. Their serivce tenet is : We piss you off till you fxxk off.
Good lord, Copies of BB/Iphone, Nokia the largest manufacturer, like it was said above, E61, E61i... Iphone=No business segment.
Nokia's are the most stable phones I have ever used, never go back.. Can't wait for this.
dam i just saw this article from another 1 and i was just about to comment on the Sony Ericsson taking the picture but i have been beat.
:(
personally I gave up from NOKIA some time after I got 3200 as an gift from my brother.
SE is the best no crappy softvare needed if you just want to transfer files.
Believe me if anybody wants I had my time with N93 the time it was released here in Croatia, and N95 too ;)
it's good but not that good! Especially N95.
I woldn't gave up from my SE P1i for 2xN95 !
And it's only because I wait to lay my hands on SE X1 ;)))))))))))))))))))))))))
And for all Nokia fans out there only my symphaty (< dunno if this's correct)
Reflection of a SE logo speaks for itself.
nuff said.
