Thanks. I mean, you're obviously a great source. I assume you have a business degree, right? And you have some sort of influence within Dell? Then go ahead an use it. For now, though, here are the facts. 1. Dell is a company, and will therefore sell what people want to buy. 2. XP machines still make sense for a lot of people. For example, myself. I need a machine that won't bog me down with 'features', play system-intensive games, and let me do word processing for work. 3. Vista machines are good for some people, and Dell recommends using at least 2 gigs of ram in a Vista config.
PS. How does dell selling underpowered computers negatively affect any of us?
