Back To The Future, revisiting European cars from the 50s with a third headlight and the 3-wheeled 'bubblecars' as produced by BMW and Isetta - only electric.
Not everyone will like the design of either of these cars and certainly not everyone can afford a Tesla (once they actually start building them for retail - see: auto vapourware), but there are companies like ZENN and Think! who have not-totally unattractive electric cars on the market now.
