it has ever produced, but we digress. The set is apparently loose in South Korea, featuring a 1080p panel, 120Hz technology, a 600,000:1 contrast ratio and four HDMI ports. Granted, the
previously veiled set won't run you cheap, as you'll walk away ?2.5 million ($2,427) poorer should you choose to take one home.

Manufacturers each have different ways of determining contrast ratio. Although I have nothing against Samsung, I think this TV is hot, it's contrast ratio is probably no better than its competitors 3-4k ratios.

Compared to the Hitachi, it is the worlds thinnest HDTV. The Hitachi that is shipping is a monitor, not an actual TV. Of course, the thing is, I saw the Samsung HDTV at CES this year and it is only 1 inch thick. So officially, the LG is the thinnest TODAY. Of course that always changes.

I'm pretty sure we have this tv in my work. It's either this one or one that looks exactly like it but with a different spec.
I may be wrong though, but if I'm right then it's loose in the UK too. And also, if its the same one it's got the weirdest power button ever. You have to touch the metal rim that goes round the hole in the bottom of the tv to switch it on and off.
