The amount of apps in the Windows Phone Marketplace
Microsoft's Windows Phone Marketplace has now reported to have passed 25,000 apps by one site tracking comings and goings within it. (source: WindowsPhoneAppslist, July 2011)

Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
Does anyone else get the feeling that Apple paid someone to make those to throw people off from the true photos?
could you repeat that? i was adjusting my tinfoil hat
No... I don't.
Allan-
Why make fakes then? It benefits no one except Apple.
jake... can i be your apprentice? each further post of yours has mee shaken and stirred at your towering powers of deduction
I would spend a few hours photoshopping this just to be on the front page of Engadget and have my webste signature in the corner of the photo.
A few hundred (or thousand) hits woud pay for my time. It's well worth it.
@spass
a few thousands hits certainly doesn't "pay for your time"
...because the crazy apple fans (fueled by engadget hate) just cuss and bitxh and don't click ads.
take it from me. :)
JakeB - Some people like making fakes to watch people go "zomg it's so ugly" or "do want", or to increase frenzy. It's a weird form of marketing, where it's something that Apple may not control, but benefits them anyway.
@ Jeff:
You seem frustrated. Are you affiliated with weiphone?
Apparently before the iPhone was announced, they had several models internally to keep people off the trail. With the secrecy at Apple, it's perfectly plausible that they are leaking (or feeding suspected leakers) fake photos.
