Well what i w as informed by a carphone ware house manager, that an internal mail has been passed which says the iphone 2nd generation is coming soon, and by soon he meant some time towards end of june and beginning of july. and iphones being not available also raises questions if they are waiting for the 3g Iphone. but another reason for not selling the 8GB Iphone's is the 100 Pound price drop. thats why they have sold like hot cakes people bought them unlocked them and sold them clever in it.

I have been waiting for the iPhone to be released in Scandinavia since it were announced. Though I probably wouldn't have touched a non-3G handset.

not exactly: to benefit from 100 pounds price drop one needed to sign contract with o2, as discount was given as o2 account credit.

You could walk into any O2 or Carphone Warehouse shop that had them in stock and pay them £169 for a phone.
