i have a macbook and i also had to instal smcFanControl and keep the fan running at 5000rpm just so the CPU stays below 65°C, this is probably the best thing i have seen for the macbook, i need to get one so that my CPU and legs last a little longer without combusting...

I've never experienced a MacBook Pro overheating. It actually runs cooler than my PC notebook that idles around 70 degrees C.
I think it depends on the CPU in there. The Penryn's don't get that hot.
