Honestly, I find Canon's naming scheme confusing. Especially so once you move away from the 1D/5D/40&30D models. It becomes a mess of Rebel XTi / XS / X-whatever. What are these things, video cards? On the same note, when is the 5D replacement coming out? I wouldn't mind swapping out my 30D and I have the glass for a nice new FF camera :)
