Couldn't agree more...we all know it is coming, we all know it will almost surely be announced at WWDC. No need to quote every darn little ultra-vague comment even slightly pointing in that direction...
I don't know a ton about the inner workings of corporately owned large-scale news blogs, but... I really doubt that Engadget does a rundown at the end of the day every day checking hits for each post, and saying "okay, 3G iPhone post got a lot of hits, make sure someone finds some news about it tomorrow so we can get more." Then again, I could be wrong. Maybe that is how they work.
Why on earth should they STFU about the 3G (really 2G, but that's another flame for another day)? They exist to report that stuff. Just because you don't care doesn't mean no one does. I am planning on getting the new iPhone the moment it's available, so I want all iPhone-related posts I can get!
So, why don't you and all of the other armchair-editors STFU?
“An engineer explained to us that hundreds of ear impressions were gathered in the name of research, and while each one obviously boasted its own unique shape and size, one single characteristic remained uniform across the board: the entrance into the ear canal is not a perfect circle, it's an oval.”
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
engadget please STFU about the 3G iphone already!

*Sigh*
My mate Dave told me down the pub that a 3G iPhone might be coming out soon. Why hasn't Engadget reported this news???
Engadget will STFU when you and other people like wise STFU.
More hits = cash = win
Just don't click on the damn things.
Kizorblade is right, ironic huh?

Wow, so TEH AWESOMER's post can get deleted, but a user's comment telling Engadget to "STFU" still remains? Erm, okay.
