Samsung rightly hasn't wasted much time in finding a successor for its
suddenly-vacated CEO position. Yoon-Woo Lee as of today will be taking on the role of Vice Chairman and CEO of Samsung Electronics, swiping the spots from Jong-Yong Yun -- who will remain in an advisory role -- and the disgraced former CEO Lee Kun-hee, respectively. Yoon-Woo Lee is no young upstart, however. He joined Samsung SDI in 1968 and moved to Samsung Electronics in 1977. From 1996 to 2004 he was the President of Semiconductor Business and since then he's been working as Vice Chairman of Corporate CTO. Given Samsung's dominance in the Flash and DRAM memory markets, it's hard to call this a bad move, but Samsung also has appointed Hyung-Kyu Lim to work on new "growth engines" to help Samsung find new ways to make cash as its current strongholds meet stronger and stronger competition. Nice to have you back on your feet Sammy, now let's see some more of those world firsts you're so fond of.

Welcome to Korea.
Mr. Yoon-Woo Lee worked his way up for four decades!
Impressive!
Can anyone get me Lee Yoon Woo's email or phone number?? I have an idea for a cell phone feature and want to present it to him.
Thanks

Why don't you post your phone number and email here so others can "present" ideas to you?
I bought a Samsung mp3 Player from Bestbuy the day after thanksgiving. Over two months ago it had a problem. I sent it into the Samsung repair place and they fixed it fast and sent it back. Some how the mp3 player got lost. I contacted UPS and they said to contact Samsung. Samsung setup a trace and didn't contact me when the trace came back saying it was left on my door step. I called them back and they had to setup a new trace. It has been over two months since it was "left on my door step". After many many calls to the management to try to get this resolved, I got a phone call on my home phone after asking to be called on my cell. The person ,Sean, that called said that UPS told them that I signed for the package. When I got that phone call I called UPS to find out who signed for the package and found out that not only was the trace not complete yet, but the information that she had was that the package was just left on my door step. I thought to myself, how could UPS say that I didn't sign for it, but Samsung is saying that I did. I called Samsung the next day and they still send me around and around without any real answers. That call was around 8-5-08 and today 8-10-08 I still have no responce. I have not received my mp3 player and I am getting tired of the run around. Please let me know what I can do or what you are going to do.
