Spherical doom doesn't make a whole lot of sense, does it now? In fact, not many applications work well on the outside of a hemisphere. A concave surface would probably be much more useful because, apart from anything else, people gathered round it can see all points on the display. The only issue would be that it would rapidly fill up with the drool of ogling geeks.
Im as tired of people saying they expect Doom/Crysis comments as the people actually making those comments. It's like you want to ask if it plays Doom yourself but don't have the guts because everyone will flame you.
