SingTel ropes iPhone distro in Singapore, India, Australia, and Philippines {Engadget}
May 12th 2008 7:34AM I visit india a lot since I'm part indian, and I'd say vodafone is the best because Airtel (Bharti Group) is a bit of a hassle to get a all new phone from them and their customer service is almost like sprints, while vodafone (in india) is pretty amazing in prices and customer service. --- Chicago's CCTV network to be autonomously monitored starting this summer {Engadget}
May 15th 2008 8:53PM I'm only commenting here 'cause it has to do with Chicago. Sorry :P --- Newsflash! Firmware 2.0 hints suggest Apple might be working on a 3G iPhone {Engadget}

May 6th 2008 4:02PM I'm on sprint and I'd rather have this one 'cause the qwerty keyboard just doesn't fit me for this phone. --- Psystar Open Computer notes, benchmarks and video {Engadget}

I dunno, I don't have a problem with people commenting on whatever they want (I've even become used to useless/non-sense comments thanks to years on the internet), but Cubs just seems like a Sprint-using, Apple-loving, part-Indian, traveling, resident of Chicago that self-admittly says silly/stupid things on occasion and normally does have something to say. It's up to the user (well really it's up to the admins, but you know what I mean), whether or not they are bothered by this.
I stick by "the more the marrier" rule, plus with the option of the masses to vote someone's post down to sewer-level they would get the point if their posts where really un-welcomed.
-On Topic Response Starts Here- I am personally not interested in any of these low-power mobile devices that fit between a handheld and a normal laptop, but I could see where they have their purpose and consumer base.
Finances are tight for me atm, but as soon as I sell a few more photographs and/or land a good paying videographer/photographer job, I am buying my mum an Apple Air. She hates how slow and bulky/heavy her current Vaio is and she has never been much for the Microsoft way of OSing, so I think she will like OSX (personally I wish Apple would lift the restrictions on the OS and let it run on open hardware and have new drivers legally created for it, but I understand how they think it would cut into their hardware sales and it probably would).
Also before anyone replies regarding running OSX on x64 hardware, I am well aware of all the solutions out there and in fact have been testing them myself since the first public PearPC release, but no matter what you want to tell yourself, it is clearly stated by Apple and the release agreement you have to accept that OSX is only allowed to run on Apple hardware.
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
