It's actually quite a good idea, as it creates an excuse to raise your arms, go pheromones go!
As a shop-window, this is pretty pointless. You have no interest in obstructing the view on your product. Once the novelty wears off, that's exactly what this technology does.

It makes sense only I don't think I ever saw it used before shortened like that in writing, and I'm not a big fan of penny arcarde I fear.
